I wrote this piece for English it was an assignment that was suppose to wake up our writing minds, we were suppose to write a recipe for something and we had to be creative about it so I wrote a recipe for life and it came out as a poem (imagine that, me write a poem!)Anyways I think it's cute what do you think?

A wisp of hair
An eye of blue
A piece of me
A piece of you

A pinch of happiness(and make it show)
A bright sunny smile to make them glow
A clove of creation to make it fun
Don't stop now we've just begun

Perseverance to keep them strong
and wisdom to know what's right and wrong
A dash of endurance to keep them going
And mix in some stubborness to keep it flowing

Throw in some temper and drama(a few)
Add in some patience to balance the two
Give them a speech that goes on for days
And put in a smile that's like the suns rays

Sprinkle with intellingence to learn and to grow
Drop in confusion for when they feel low
Frustration and sorrow must also be there
As well as the ability to love and to care

Curiosity and fear is what's next on the list
and determination and will, will not be missed
Add in some freckles for spice and for flare
and Of course the must also be kindness to spare

Mix together well; beat out the lumps
amd come back and check in about nine months

People always ask me why I don't look toward my future I tell them to many interesting things are happening today.

*squeal* I loved it! ... I did NOT just squeal. At any rate, I really did like it. It was excellent! A great tribute to mankind.

I really liked that. It had a good flow to it. You know how sometimes when you read poems, they seem kind of forced? Yeah. well, yours didnt do that. Good poem.

Thanks guys, for the comments! I always like getting feed back. I really like this poem so I'm glad to see that other people do to!
