The place just beyond my eyes, where my spirit flies.

Someone once asked me,
Is it you who travels through time?
Or time which travels through you?
Are your actions predetermined?
Or must you make the right choices,
To get to the next day?
Is it destiny?
Or just floating through life's choices and mistakes?
I've made my share of mistakes
Maybe I was supposed to make those certain "goof ups"
Perhaps I needed to learn from them
To have the knowlage to get over the next hill
I didn't let these mistakes hold me down...
For long.
I made it through to each new days light
Regardless of destiny or decision.

Oh wow!! I really liked this poem. It was very deep, I could feel the thoughts and emotions woven through it as if I were feeling them myself. That is a great gift to posses to make the reader feel the impact of your words! Keep it up!

This is a poem that makes you THINK! I sort of believe in destiny but I believe that we have the power through the decisions we make in life to change it - for better or worse.

I heard once that destiny only takes us so far, and it's us who has to do the rest. Relying entirely on the 'plan' you might have laid out before you may be dissapointing. Nice job here.
