Don't you see me?
I'm right here,
Right in front of you.
Pay attention.
Open your eyes.
I'm jumping up and down.
You still can't see me?
I'm screaming now;
shouting your name.
Can't you hear me?
I'm pushing you.
Can't you feel me?
I'm right here
And you still don't realize it.
I've been right by your side the whole time.
What do I have to do to get you to notice me?
I'm doing all that I can think of.
I need your attention!
Since you don't notice I'm here,
Maybe you'll notice if I'm not there.
Is that what I have to do?
Do you want me to leave,
So that then you'll be on your own?
Maybe then you'll realize
How much I've been there for you.
But when you do realize
And you do miss me,
I'll still be right here;
I will have never really left,
And all you'll have to do is call my name.
