Out the window the sun shines Now matter how bad it is I look outside With the trees and grass growing they sway with the wind Birds fly, dogs bark Its so much better outside everyone is so happy laughing loving hope joy all seem to flow Inside it hurts My window is shut, everything out nothing in only longing to open it have life course through my veins Its stuck, why does it happen to me Frozen in time past and present The window my only way to the future happiness closed off I close my curtains, no one can see me They don't know what its like to long for a life to begin while theirs run short, out my window " I think I got a tan from the light in which i was basking." |

Such a sad poem... I like what it was showing. The window immage and the outside and inside was a great way to show the "shelterdness" that people posess. The part about the struggle of trying to open that window was really good. Is this a poem directly related to you? And if so, what casued you to feel as if happiness was off limits to you? Nice post. -AB "Whatever you are doing, love yourslef for doing it. |

Ya this poem totally falls into play with me. For me its more to the point where the happiness is...I kinda like to think i have split personalities...not like the crazy type but when i am at home and school are different. So its showing how unhappy i am compared to when the window is open at school..if that makes sense " I think I got a tan from the light in which i was basking." |

I found it a bit abstract to read. However after reading it over a couple of times I can get where ur coming from. So I'd give it two thumbs up!!!!! **Topsy** |
