What you lose to stupidity

One night of fun,
Turned into the next day of hate,
Lost 2 bestfriends
For acting like an ape.

Told them I didnt like them,
Told them I never did,
What came over me?
The alchol in my bloodstream.

I remember when I was young,
Studying all the drunks,
Thinking I can never come out that way,
Until new years eve.

It was a night to celebrate,
A night for fun,
What I did to ruin it,
Will never be right.

I ruined my life along with yours,
Im sorry I say,
You say goodbye,
All I can do is wonder why.

Im sorry for what i've done and nothing can change it,
Please believe it wasn't me talking,
It was mixed emotions and funny at the time,
Little did I know I was hurting you Inside.

I lost alot to this thing called stupidity,
No way to get it back,
No way to try.
Now im like all of the "regular" guys.

Yah alcohol can do that to ya..but its ok, just work with what you have.
