*wrote this after I saw the new Lord of the Rings...it got my thinking*

The white horse carrying the man I love
He fights through the depths of darkness
To only come to me
His love for me is strong
He would climb the highest mountain
swim the deepest sea
cry out when I am not at his side
He longs to feel my touch
Hear my voice
He will fights for me, die for me
All of this to save me
He might not know where I am
But, he knows he must have me
He might not know my name
But, one day he will come and save me
Pick me up and we will ride off unto the sunset
I can only imagine what he looks like
what he sounds like
Maybe he won't come on a white horse
but come through me lift, silently
I am waiting for the day
I will know he is mine and I am his
but I will still look to the heavens and call out
and he will answer my cry

I'm an admitted medieval freak. I loved this poem, very romantic, reminds me of the ballads of old. Please, please write some more (im begging, i really am.) I LOVED IT

I liked this a lot....IT WAS PARFAIT! (Perfect in french) I'm freezing so I can't say much cuz fingers don't type..but great job! ~*~ME~*~

And what's wrong with being a Legolas lover?!
I really liked this poem alot, especially about him not having to come on a white horse. I myself don't need a white horse, actually I'd prefer black lol.
