It's been so long,
Since someones loved me,
I forgot the feeling,
Of how sweet it can be.

Everytime I get this way,
It always ends fast,
Right now I dont care,
I'll soak it up while it lasts.

The longer I wait for love,
The more I feel alone,
When all of a sudden you appear,
Like a signature white dove.

Ive learned how to love,
I wish so many more would,
It would make this world wonderful,
In all honestly now that I think of it,
Nothing could.

A world messed up in so many ways,
When you think about it,
You can only take care of you,
You and that someone you love,
And for me you are that one.

This is a really good poem...very romantic...however...realistic. I think we should all look at ourselves and the world together...What we do...effects...us.
