Its 2 am and I can’t go to sleep
Because I can’t stop thinking about you

The compassion I feel
Is like a fire blazing deep inside
I wish I could express myself better
I wish I didn’t have to hide

But we all know we must be careful
When it comes to matters of the heart
But how else can I say, without you in it
My world would simply fall apart

Its 2 am and I can’t go to sleep
Because I can’t stop thinking about you

I dare say this is one of the best poems I've read in a while. You express yourself very well. I still think that it could be longer, but it's fine as is. Greaat Write!
