I've tried to kill the pain, only to love more, tears frozen in my eyes melt, feelings come back stronger than before. I'm so sick of being here, supressed by the beating of my own heart, bringing things of happiness, wishing we had never part. Long lost words whisper slowly back into my mind, haunting me of what I had lost behind. Reaching out, trying to hold you in my arms, I'm like a ghost to you, walking through me, thinking I'm at no harm. If only you would look into my eyes, you'd see the feelings I have for you, it cries. Dust begins to sift off my face, as sadness was all it showed, as I finally smile, seeing you again, my face glowed. The essence of your voice and the sight of your caring smile, brought that happiness that I haven't experienced in a while. It's something that I want, yet can't have, can't grab, as this jagged knife continues to break my heart, continues to stab. |

No suggestions to improve this poem? I know it's not one of my best. |

Nice poem. I am not really one to give advice on how to better but I liked this one " I think I got a tan from the light in which i was basking." |
