When I was little I never quite understood,
I just wanted to be with you as much as I could.
As I got older, you never seemed to change-
I got wiser,while you just stayed the same.

You will always be my hero,
but now i've come to see-
that as I get older,
You will now look up to me.

People may seem to laugh because you are different,
but you never seem to care-
you just laugh because their all the same,
and so many like to stare.

You are so very unique,
and deffinently one of a kind-
Sometimes I wonder,
exactly what it is that goes threw your mind.

When I look into your eyes,
so innocent and true-
I can't imagine another brother,
other then you.

Your face may be different,
but your feelings are the same-
you laugh and cry and take pride in all your gains.

The Lord gave you life to live and embrace,
And you'll do it as we do,
but at your own pace

I love you like no other,
and im so thanful to have you as such a-

Bless you for such a sweet heart! I dunno how many people would feel so much love for even their "normal" brother and sisters...thanks for such a great read!

This is very cute. It makes me think that I should be embracing my own siblings. The rhyme scheme adds to it and it's very sweet. Thanks for sharing that.

The only comment I would have would to change 'threw' to 'through'. Other than that, (and that's really minor) it's a really great poem with a sweet sentiment. Thank you for sharing it.
