I see the shades of yesterday's tears I know what cycle Im entering I'll trap myself in a second's drak corner not wanting to step in Im seeing my reflection in others treating them with the sorrows I must go through seeking for my desire's missing will I've found freedom that must be locked It like a circling sun only to find itself where it has sprouted Can I not have senses just like anyone else? I hear answers from God saying I must fall to show what must be shown once again Im lost in sanitys void.. this poem was written in 5 minutes portraying emotions IMO in a more honest and natural way. Its about how sometimes we people work so hard for something that we really dont want and how vivid and clear that sometimes a brand "new" day is just another excuse to make us feel good and hide the hidden sorrows when a new day is merely controled by every gloomy emotion we had of the previous day. Its about being controlled by others will while your own desires fades away and your fueled to go on with this habit by the guilty pain thats been left undealt with in years. |

Lester~ You've put a lot of thought and feeling into this piece and have expressed it well. Nicely done. ~Vicky "...until you have read the verse on his heart, |

Wow, very nice job here! I can't believe this got to the second page with only 2 replies. I thought it was wonderful. And upon reading your explanation I liked it even more because I understood exactly what you were saying. Very nice! Keep up the great work! *Me* |
