Hello everyone, allow me to introduce myself.. It has been quite a long time since I have posted here and this will probably be my last since I am too old now (23). But I previously posted as Jacman. Some of you, and the moderators may remember me. Here is a poem about a graduation, not necissarily from school, but a change in any phase of life into another. Staring out bleakly at what the future may hold. Holding on tight to the tools I have gained. Hope, dispair and fear all at once invade my heart. But courage must hold steadfast. I take this step with half closed eyes onto the terrain, that is not yet been tamed for I am the Blaizer of my own trail now. No one can do it but me, for my life, is my burden. Taking with the wisdom of the path, and the knowledge of those that I have left behind, I embark To see what is to bee seen, to experience what is to be experienced, and to end more than I am. jason c I'm not concieted....I'm convinced |

Hi, Jason Welcome back to the blue pages. It's great to see you posting again. Though you may feel that you are 'too old' to post in here, you are still welcome to pop in any time you like and feel free to share some of your poetry with us as well. I enjoyed this piece very much, and whether you choose to post in here or another forum, I will be looking for more of your work. Again...welcome home. ~Vicky "...until you have read the verse on his heart, you have not truly met the poet. ~vlraynes [This message has been edited by vlraynes (12-19-2002 02:12 AM).] |
