Plates of unidentifiable greyness Steam Shine and i can hear the slop of lumps fallen from spoons And I watch them shovel Load after load Into their gaping black greedy unsatisfied Holes. They stare out of blank piggy-eyes And the leader has a lump s l o w l y sliding down his stubbled chin Like a snail. This plate must be fribee-flung To leave a wet circle on the violent wallpaper. "I'm terribly sorry ma'am, my karma just ran over your dogma" |
