She sits at night feeling so alone. Praying that her husband will soon be home. Once in awhile she`ll stare at the door. Then she remembers he`s fighting a war. She knows in her heart he`s doing whats right. But she gets so lonely especially at night. He`s fighting for freedom all the way. She`s hoping for a letter almost anyday. She sits there thinking of the love he brings. When all of a sudden the doorbell rings. She opens the door and a soldier stands tall. She could swear she saw a teardrop fall. "I`m sorry to inform you he started to say" "Your husband was killed this past Sunday" He died saving another man`s life. But before he died he said please tell my wife. "She has always been the most important thing to me" We will be together again I truly believe" Juanita |

So sad! This scene happens too often. But it's good to read you again. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Juanita, this is so very heartachingly beautiful, while I too honor all those who do what they can to protect and save our freedom and liberty, my heart too cries to their families and how they must cope with such absences or losses! (BIG HUGGGSSSSSS) God Bless You, sweetfriend, you have a true loving and compassionate heart, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Juanita, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Juanita darling heart, my dear sweet friend, I always love your writing darling girl you carry within it such an abundance of wisdom and truth. The whole of this poem is special it is so real and that is another reason your writing connects with the reader. This particular one although sadly poignant is amazingly beautiful and deserves the most amazing plaudits it can garner I love it utterly utterly utterly. It is awesome writing, well done, and I know I don’t have to tell you how pleased I am to see you posting here. As always Mushy Breathe through the heat of our desire |
