ptui to ennui it's a lot of hooey but it sure can take hold and make wimps of the bold now you may think this criticism but it's not a kind of ism at all it's just that your words have driven me over the wall I enjoyed your boredom and the product that it made, for it sent me off a pondering, though I'm far from getting paid. Want to say, as encouragement, a phrase of scripture you might use: "This too shall pass." Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

You write better than I do Julie. What is life without poetry and adventure? |

We all get bored now and than, and at least you found some words to spill forth, and create a vision for us to see, to keep us from becoming bored. Thanks for sharing this poem tonight. |

look at all the source material out there, take that with some of the comments around..like other saying they write just as you do to keep the juices going...and when in doubt do what I do read a book, watch a film..talk to a friend about something new or something old..and put that in your own words with the dazzle of a your imagination [This message has been edited by ecrivan (08-29-2002 11:47 PM).] |

If I were to be completely honest with you, I have never been bored for very long--in my free time. Note I said 'free time'. I've attended many a lecture that had me climbing up the walls! B-O-R-I-N-G!---but even then I'd find ways to amuse myself. Ecrivan has many wonderful suggestions in the poem he posted for you. The people at PIP are a very caring bunch and you are a part of that bunch! Take Care---you are not alone Loner! Love, Light & Laughter Linda |

ROTFLMAO at the big toe reply. Boredom can be inspirational. Did I really just say that??? Enjoyed the read, loner. But you aren't so alone now, are you? |
