Why do I blame myself for something I could never change?
Why do I continue to torture myself over what you have decided?
Why cant I get you off my mind when I tell myself repeatedly to forget about you?
Why cant I forget your smell?
Why cant I forget the times you held me in your arms?
Why cant I look at my hands and not think of all the times you have held them?
Why cant I stop thinking of all the memory's and laughs we have had?
Why cant I wake up tomorrow and be like Im over him and mean it?
Why does this pain keep getting stronger with every breath I take?
Why do I feel so empty inside?
Why does my soul hurt?
Why cant you think of me half as much as I think of you?
Why don't you feel the hollow heart such as I have?
Why do act like I was never even in your life?
Why cant I say the right things to change your mind?
Why cant you come back and heal all of this pain.......Why? Because you are with her.....
Tell me what she has that I don't?
Tell me you didn't mean to hold me in your arms so tight
Tell me all your kisses were given with your eyes open
Tell me you didn't mean to say I love you
Tell me you didn't mean to say I looked gorgeous every day
Tell me you lied about all the feelings you said you had felt
Tell me that all the laughs and good times we have had were all fake
Tell me I meant nothing to you....so I can move on...

Why? The eternal question of love and life. Nice debut. Sorry for your pain, but remember.. what does not kill us, makes us stronger. You have the strength, you will go on..hopefully to write more cool poetry around here in a wonderful circle of friends. Hello and Welcome.
