As far as the endless forever Shades of blue and of gray by the weather To blush pinkened cheeks upon sunset On bold in gold rise with the morn met Reflection of sea green deep water Covered white in the frock winter brought her Puckered up in the storms ill sent temper Or to mute as fogged glass the pre-empter As far floats the ivory of dreamers Shades sheer in confetti and streamers To befall the charms changing each season Or exclaim toasts to life for no reason Rippled clouds skirt horizons in frilling As the mind wanders unbound and willing Patterned backdrop of every dream freely As far as forever is really Copyright Kkh 8/28/02 |

Kathleen I love the descriptions within. I was going to tell you my favorites (the confetti and streamers and the rippled clouds...frilling) I really liked that one. M |

Goodness girl, this could be a time of all seasons, shades, shines, and shimmers.. Excellent images and how you tied them in.. |

When I read your profile, I discovered that you work in a highly technical left-brained industry. This poem proves that your right brain is functioning superbly as well! Love, Light & Laughter Linda |

Rippled clouds skirt horizons in frilling.... This is so very creative, Kathy... a marvelous write... It reminds me of the old Beatles song, "Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds" remember the "marshmallow people and marmalade skies" I'm not sure I got the words right, but your poem reminds me of that kind of fantasy. ~ hugs of fantasy Lyra |
