We gathered together,
to asked the Lord,s blessings
for this nation,
united in prayer
for this terrible situation...
We gathered together in one accord,
setting aside all differences,
seeking strength from the Lord...
"A mighty fortress is our God",
"A refuge in time of trouble",
A Light that shines in the midst of darkness...
...A spirit of hate
invades our space;
no respecter of color or race;
it places itself in the heart of man,
bringing devestation to our land...
Yet, in the midst of trouble,
in the midst of fear,
We gather still,
knowing God is near...

yes, and that is what we must do to weather days and events like these as well as reap complete joy out of those good and fine moments

Yes, very nicely put. I remember the sense of gathering together as a people. My hope is that this sense of togetherness within our nation will continue long after the event is placed in the back of our minds. I will not say forgotten, for we will never, ever forget. Nice work.

(big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, my heart still breaks after that tragedy yet I know God is still with us all and He wil help us through and let us spread our freedom and justice wings to Loves hope!
