Inspired by the movie, 'Signs.' Of the signs of otherworldly harvests emptied circles placed in mid-field a cord and plywood board could do the trick sets impressionable people guessing..mighty slick trails of abandoned sparrow nests nearby sightings of ships in urban skylines... If this is a good hoax let me shake the author's extended paw... across the atmosphere, I hear strange gaffaws next day will greet me with renewed rationale and a predicament of choice: do I believe in the miracle of survival or am I alone with no hope? Morning Martin, I found this very interesting as I have looked into crop circles the past few years. We had some 'appear' overnight a few years back just outside of town. You may laugh...but, I am not so sure they are man made. Perhaps it is the child in me who wants so badly to believe in the unbelievable, the magical...I don't know...but I think I want to go on thinking maybe...perhaps...well....you know...?? ~morning hugs~ ~Somewhere in my heart I'm always |

Martin, I saw "Signs" and enjoyed it..I recall a few circles in the past but they were done by man...the movie supposedly took place in God's Country..Bucks County, PA a few hours away from me. not too far from me they create a corn field maze for charity... M |

Martin: A very interesting poem, and although I've yet to see the movie, I believe. In 1960 my Grandfather, living midpoint between Harrow and Amherstburg, Essex County, Ontario Canada came across a hole in the ground approximately 6 inches in diameter and a weighted rope 40 feet long didn't reach the bottom. Along about that time, I was doing the summer vacation thing, and had a very disconcerting episode of waking up in the hay behind the barn around 5am when the cows came up for milking. The previous night I had been sitting on the slant roof of the back shed around 2am writing poetry by flashlight and moonlight. About twenty-five years later a regression session brought out the rest of the details, about which I will write someday. Approximately 8 years ago, in a farmers field adjacent to the old farm, a very large grouping of crop circles was found. I believe because I have no choice. SS  Create something infinite today - Smile!!! |

Nancy, I agree about your doubt and the fact that we have been cavorting with UFOs for so long leads me to believe we are not alone too.. Vas, I do think there is a reson for all this...if I can call that hope  |

I read this earlier and came back to look--and funny, I never had this burning need to know about such "signs" as these (and yes, I know I must see this movie---um...I'm not doing anything t'morrow...y'check with yer wife? grin...I'll check with my husband, and if they say it's okay? I say it's a good sign!) but? truly, crop circles always amused me... There is a cynic in me, that murmers..."oh yeah. RIGHT. There are advanced beings in the universe, sending us encoded messages by trampling the crops of a war-torn planet, as so many die of hunger? They take the time to trample the potentiality of food-stuff to send us cryptic messages that we can never understand, and yet? are somehow beautiful....hmmmm...." I don't get it. (And I'm considered kinda weird too.) But? no...I can't buy it. I forget the comedian? But? This one gave me quite a chortle, saying, "Just suppose--that crop circles were a really well-thought out ad campaign for "Target" stores!" And don't get me wrong, I LIKE crop circles..but there's so much more to ponder, yes? Hugs you! |

 (big hugggssssss) Oh my gosh, I have not yet seen that movie, I heard it was too confusing from some criticisms but I know how interesting this is and I too wish it could mean something while I am sure that overnight UFO's couldn't create those kind of mandalas or touchstones and I only wish there could really be a superstitious reasoning to them all! (sigh) This isn excellent, sweet friend, I love it, I'll probably see Signs when it comes out on video, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!
