A woman's tears in fury sang mystery of a Goddess birth-- one spring night it all began a reckoning of storm emerged. Quiet, as a housewife's tears, with swirl of spoon on supper's stove-- somewhere above, the Gods did hear clouds in Gulf of Mexico. "Yes," they said,"she acted strange." So all the vapors rearranged and swirled with magick of a spoon each tear she cried became monsoon. A gathering of universe it's true, we saw a goddess birthed to at last eat words we spoke when at last the water broke. How she cried in birth, travail, how her tears ran river's trail. Thus her storm became undammed... on and on and on she ran. From Texas coast and inland sure across the southern ghost procured filling creeks and rivers kept a torrent in a woman--wept. All the pain she hid inside bled from the skies in nature's cry... Again, again, she could not stop. Nature spun a sorrow's top. Across the south and up east coast, she wept upon a mighty boast where they'd never seen such rain-- "How can one woman feel such pain?" Allison? She cried for days, that even I am left amazed. I, olympic cryer, sure. Alive and dry--I think I'm cured. * * * I re-iterate: http://www.gate.net/~madonia/monkeypa.htm with a chuckle? and a ![]() |

I dunno, can't possibly be ten years...oh wait. I blinked. Yep. Ten years. Amazing the things we have all survived... Hey Serene one, this may be all wet, but go ahead, use it in good health! ![]() |

The poem reminds me of the lack of rain here in Cali. The website (have read that story many times before) reminds me of a Marilyn Manson quote: When all of your wishes are granted, many of your dreams will be destroyed. Loved the poem, Sen. A wash to tired face. Mike |

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Not here!!!! Not again!!! LOL The one good thing to come out of that crying jag extraordinaire that Allison laid on us last year was this poem. *G* I swear we had droughts this year because she'd used up a lifetime's supply of moisture in one week. *S* So please don't twitch that witch this way... I'm just getting over my fear of rain! *G* |

this is awesome! "The cloud weeps, and then the garden sprouts. The baby cries, and the mother's milk flows. The nurse of creation has said, 'Let them cry a lot.'" O' to be delivered from the realm of the rational into pure song... |

Thanks for the sprinkle, witch. But, I need to bump this, as we need much more. My poor river is 6% of "normal". Six percent! The fish are knockin' on the door to borrow a cup. Thanks again. ~Ed In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward". |
