Oh dear Lyra this brought tears to my eyes. *warm hugs*. A tribute fitting a son who was blessed with you, as I am sure you were blessed with him. My heart goes out to you sweet lady. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) God Bless You, sweet friend, it is so very thoughtful of you to love and care for his family so much as I know they too share the same tears as you! (wipes tears) I understand this pain and I wish there was so much more I could do to help, but know deep down Eric will always love all of you, and I am sure his family is so lucky to have a compassionate grandma and lifetime angel! (big hugggssssss) I am always here if you need someone to talk to you, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lyra, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Thanks so much for your compassion, Noah... I have been crying all over these blue pages today... They are probably all wet... ~ tearful hugs Lyra |

I'm lost for words so please forgive my muddled attempt at consolation.I'm so sad right now and though there's nothing really that can be said to warm the chill death leaves behind in the air or lighten the melancholy of a lost loved one, I have to say as in all things time heals, however slowly, and at least you know that your son loved you then, and wherever he is, loves you now. |

Thank you so much for your kind and comforting words, Gabriel... My son, Eric died a little over 2 years ago, at the age of 30. Today would have been his 33rd birthday and I have been crying all over these blue pages today... They are probably soaked by now and so poor Ron will have to go and sop them up. I had posted another poem about him, earlier today... if you would like to see it please click on this link My Little Alien ~ hugs and tears Lyra |

Lyra, Please know that your pain is felt and partially understood. You face so many challenges in your life and you offer such a wonderful example to us all. Thank you always. [This message has been edited by Larry C (08-25-2002 11:51 PM).] |

Lyra, Haven't done a birthday yet. I can only imagine how hard it is to know the celebration that could have been. Peace and courage to you dear friend. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Thanks so much for BOTH of your replies, Larry... Birthdays are difficult but I have found that the actual death anniversary is even more difficult. My first husband died on May 22 of 99 and his birthday was on July 25. Eric died on July 8, of 00 and his birthday was on Aug. 25..... so that whole 3 months between the end of May and the end of August feels like I am under some kind of curse, and it has happened every year since Eric died. ~ peace be with you Larry Lyra |
