I Saw The Blossom Fade |

For my friends... I saw the blossom fade away before my very eyes. Then the petals dropped, one-by-one, under the heat of passions too-hot sun. No relief in the skies, no solace to be found, as heartbeat-by-heartbeat Love fell to the ground, leaving me wishing to not see any more new blossoms. I cherished the one that fell to the floor. Please, no more. At least, not for a while. My heart bleeds to beat. |

reminded me of that old song, "Love is a Rose"--and I could feel the weight of grief and this left me pondering how such emptiness can take up so much space...beautiful. Sad, but lovely. |

This is beautiful Kacy. It’s so sad when the blossom fades. You seem to have found your way into my head this morning, and written what I can’t find words for. Hugs to you for that. You can never win or lose |

In this case dear poet, you may be the rain that quenches these roses of tomorrow. |

Kacy dear: no blossom stands well in all seasons midnight blooms fail and fade and it is a circle of life that we cherish all experience that brings us back to growth again astutely clever, but with appeal of all who have lost their rose cheeks of love jeff |

Thank your for your reply, Karen. Yes, it is a sad one. But sadness seems to go with the territory, of Love and Life itself. Lauren, hugs sweet poet of understanding. Tracey, hope these words rest gently with you today. Hearthugs. Karilea, thanks, and the picture of blue is perfect. Diamond, Thank you for that kind and gentle reply. Duncan, special heart hugs today, with a tender thoughts bouquet. Sy, thank you, you understand much about love and kindness. Jeff, that is really a tender and lovely reply! Thanks, friend. |

Lyra, I don't intend to droop into oblivion just yet. Us hippie-chicks will still be blooming rosebuds when others are pushing up daisies. |
