Here's a poem I wrote about Calamity, defined within. The inspiration came to me as sudden as a gun shot. As I finished this write in under 10mins, I do hope you enjoy... | Calamity | She came to me, like a rain drop in the dessert. The sun was cool for that split second when she arrived, the wind died down my heart cried, as her presence smiled; at me through lips, so complete perfect sat juicily on them. My pulsation traveled faster, harder, as a transfusion she cascaded through my veins. My eyes grew dim, I became weak in the knees, as the shiver of love’s scent began to peruse my heart. Calamity, stood in my vision keying a talk and jazzin’ an enchant, as soft yellow lights leaped against her tummy. The blue skies outside cried my name, every dam thing took flight, with wind of my muscular mood. Was like tornados interlocked and tossing emotion, still her eyes couldn’t tell all what I’ve cloaked all so well, from. Calimity, as she grew heavy-eyed left for a nap, as my being followed neatly. It’s reason enough why I’ve fallen in love, with Calamity. My poetry is at: http://www.thehayden.org |
