Annul Gray comes in on silent days candles only illumine it to pearlescent with shades of pink so pale that it tinges silence deafening, threatening red it is now that the void appears no matter how small the hole of it it is deeper than the blackest space and still… still, you reach in touching my tear. My back stiffens, fearful of the terrible swift edge that rises, that I have yet to breach, and I query, where does it come from, this strength not to weep… is it because my alone crowds loudly and there is no one, no one no one who would shelter me safely, who would catch the crashing fall of me in an arm’s net securely, where I might allow intimate losses to tumble in, who would quiet this silent shriek that rips my soul apart, simply by a silent understanding reach of touch. When the gray comes in on silent pause, in roughly one day from the last day that alone sees my face, the arms that net my hole of scream will feel my shudder dissolve ~ that is when this pain will annul. |

Elan~This is such a heart-rending write. Your emotions just pour out for all to see.. and as tears filled my eyes.. I could not, dare not, choose my favourite lines as I loved the entire piece! Excellent write my dear. ~Heart-hugs~ |
