NOT ME !

For once I'd like to write a poem,
about happiness, and the love of someone.
I'd like to say ' We ' have a love
that will be there, when all's said and done.

I'd like to write, about holding hands,
To know, all is right in my world.
To have a strong shoulder to lean on,
and the words ' I love you ' unfurled

I want to write, about kisses sweet,
and two hearts, beating as one.
But the beauty, of this kind of magic,
is a love song I've never heard sung.

And so I read, about other peoples love,
as they share, their love every night.
And I long to be held, in warm, loving arms,
feeling protected, all through the night.

My love, heart and soul, I've given away.
Though he deserves, more then I can give.
And though by him, I may never be loved,
Through others, I've learned to live.

like this. YOU DO!! I LOVE your poems. I even like the crazy stuff you write!! ;-)
ME..well I just write, whatever.

Some how I feel like I'm the only one wishing this way, and I thank you sincerely for your sweet words.

Kitty this is everyone's wish I think at one point and time in life. Hey, I LIKE how you write, just write like YOU.

Kitty - after reading your words I have to say you have written about your dreams very well. By the way, I used to live in Charlottesville. I still have relatives that live in Ruckersville...
