in the most demanding times when
the sun is not yet here and not yet gone
she starts and ends with the dulling drone
of mindless tasks (the ones she calls
the need be done’s)

in the heat of the day one would tend to
think her busy as she flutters and
flits from thing to thing (she strictly
avoids proximity’s scorching grasp)

when darkness falls and the shadows scan
for frail fluttering things she hangs upside
down on the ceiling (nothing a miss from her
nightly illusion)

thank you all.....if you knew what a rough(to quote suthern) metamorphosis this thing had you would laugh.....sigh my muse has been 'unavailable for the moment' for more moments than I want to count....
