Some days for me are difficult But your image remains in view I feel a sudden pang of sadness As I stop and think of you You were too good for this world And were needed elsewhere But my sorrow and grief Can be so hard to bear I cannot turn back the pages Or even the hands of time But sometimes I lose direction And my heart begins to pine The times we spent together Will remain here in my mind There is nothing that can break These chains of love that bind You left before your time Taken away from me so fast I was devastated by your passing How long will this grief last? So many friends bring comfort But there are tears behind my smile I still feel so lost without you As I walk life's lonely mile My light of love burns brightly As your image remains in sight Thoughts of you will bring me comfort But my demons I still fight I am in motion |

(BIG HUGGGSSSSSS) Oh Sue, I can feel the grief in your heart and I wish there was more I could do to help but know deep down your father will always love you so much and is so proud of you and wants you to be happy as his love will always be in your heart and nothing can ever erase that! (sigh) God Bless You, you are a true angel, believe in what he shared with you and you can never be lost for you are surrounded by many who love you such as me, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

My light of love burns brightly As your image remains in sight Thoughts of you will bring me comfort But my demons I still fight Very powerful verse, Sue. The ache of this is clearly audible. |

Sue, Duncan is right. Thank goodness for the blessings. Peace to you friend. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Sue...A great poem about your lost love one. No amount of words or tears will ever take away your pain even though we all wish we could help in some way. Just take comfort in knowing he loved you and hold dear all the fond memories of your time together...Paul |

Sue - the pain and loneliness of losing your dad is so evident in this piece. My friend, I am so sorry and wish I could just give you a hug. Know that he is always with you. Hugs, Marti |

Sue - your poetry shows us the deep inside you and here we see the special love that exists between you and your dad. His spirit will be with you always - this is a fine poem and says lots for all of us to learn from - Paul |

Dear Sue: This is a sadness that never goes completely away. My father has been gone for 40 years and when I think about him the pain is still intense. He was only 53 and I miss him every day, just as you do your dad. Something people have to learn to live with and it;s hard! Betty Lou Hebert |
