The loner
Has no friends
Speaks her mind
Even if nobody likes it
She doesn't mean to upset anybody
But she knows when she has
And after the fact
Feels sorry for what she has said
Yes she has a boyfriend
Yes she has her boyfriends friends
As her friends
But she never likes losing friends
Like she has in the past
That is why she is always
Called the loner

Cold hands means a warm heart

try speaking your mind in gentler ways and you will find that friends won't walk away...but be conscious of what you say and careful not to intentionally hurt  them with words as words are very powerful...

It's good to speak your mind--but it's good to think about what you are going to say, before you speak it. There are inherent lessons to be learned in how others react to us.

Words can be like stones thrown on the Great Sea of Life---be wary of ripples!

P.S. You have a lot of friends here at PIP!

I understand this completely, Julie... because I always speak my mind also... and in the past, I have lost some friends over this... but as I've gotten older, I've learned to speak my mind more softly and to preface a the bang over the head with a small compliment...
Also, as you get older... you will probably find more friends who appreciate it that you speak your mind...  That has been my experience...

(big hugggssssss) Oh Julie, my heart goes out to you, know that you do have friends here and I agree with Lyra, you are special and it takes time for others to mature as you do and understand and reason with you and that time will come soon and you will be surrounded by a coterie of friends! (sigh) This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much, God Bless You! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Julie, I don't know about the others you spoke of, but I think of you as my friend. You write very well and I like to read your poems. You always write very sweet comments to me, too. I appreciate your sincerity that shows through in your work, Julie. I hope to hear more from you. Thanks for sharing.

Love To All,
Ethel
