Light rain is falling, Sidewalks are just moist right now, Puddles yet to come. Hidden sun rising, Brightening the sky somehow, Rain’s rivulets run. Grey clouds are swarming, Crying on pedestrians Crossing open ground. The day’s not warming, Chilling walkers emotions, Sky tears on the ground. Heavy storm calling, In the thunder’s vibrations, Echoes city streets. Walkways now clearing Into shelters people plow, Vacating wet streets. Gloom |
