i wrote this after a strange week i spent with a good friend of mine who i hadnt seen for a long time. since i first met her, i knew she was special and i wanted to be with her but she was in a long term relationship, then suddenly one day we caught up again and she was single, and i was in a relationship about to end. we flirted with the idea of getting together but she ended up not wanting to, which was greatly disappointing, since when i first met her she was single for a short time but i did nothing, which has always been my one greatest regret in life. and so it will remain. but this is just about our wonderful week together, the closeness we shared and how much i missed it when it disappeared so suddenly. we used to play together we used to talk together i never wanted to be alone and now im stuck all on my own you came to me in a flurry and were gone in a hurry i miss u bein there i miss the way u care i miss ur happy smile that i brought to your face, for just a short while i missed my first chance, but another arose but i missed that too, the last, i suppose but friends i want to be cos i loved ur company the way wed talk about nothing but it was fun, it was something i kno now that its back for good i shouldnt have doubted, i knew it never would Though dreams can be deceiving |

Oh, MPT, I hope your friend is somewhere around you now. If, not, it sounds like you have some very good memories. My husband (who was also my best friend at the time) passed away in 1997. We had ben married for many, many years. It was very hard, but I will always cherish the happy memories that we made together. I'm so thankful for those memories. We were so in love. I'm also very, very blessed with the love of my life now..my Gary. We became best friends before we became a "couple". (He's now not only my "LOVE", but also my best friend) He has helped me through many lonely times without my husband. And he is so understanding. I love him so very, very much. I am so thankful to have been blessed with these two wonderful men in my life. Sorry, to have gotten so long with my response. Good luck to you, and best wishes. Hello, mpt. Perhaps time will let this relationship come around again, to another beginning. I enjoyed the read. |
