RAIN OR SHINE

It's such a bright and sunny day,
I hope the clouds will stay away

In the distance, is that thunder
that I hear
Oh, no, not rain, I wanted it to
stay clear

But if it does rain and outside we
can't stay
Poets will get inspiration as they
ponder their day

So rain or shine, complain not we
For of the rain and sun, moon and sky,
Stars and Earth, we write, you see

Exactly....I try to embrace all of the weathers' nuances just to put me in the mood[s] that the poet[s] in me need...

You, too, Sunshine. I feel very good that two such talented Poets would take time to read something I have written. Thanks so much to both of you.

garysgirl - I love to write when it rains, seems different somehow, pleasant perhaps. The rain, a new poem, see I've been inspired...
