Those Words The Days, My Friend ~*Marge Tindal*~ We heard that he was coming that boulevardier from Florida South Heard that he might woo us with poetry straight from his mouth It was with convivial spirits that we waited for his arrival Wondering if we'd been bamboozled and if there was a chance for survival Legerdemain was his reputation preceding his knock at the door In he bounded with joy to spare surely he'd not be a bore So artfully he fomented us that we were caught aback Surely the skills of a poet he certainly did not lack He was the concatenation that held us all in awe Yes, Seymour has come to be the sweetheart poet to us all~ *A tiny, well-deserved tribute to a real gentleman* Seymour, you inspired us with your poetry and dazzled us with your 'Randy' PiP Florida Meet September 2002 while we were at the Florida Poets Meet Thursday - Monday Word of the Day for Thursday September 26, 2002 boulevardier - boo-luh-var-DYAY, bul-uh-\, noun 1. Well, hon it's a good thing you put the meanings at the bottom or I'd have never gotten through this great tribute. I love learning new words and no one teaches them better than you. Thanks for sharing the words to make us all brilliant and the poem. Hugs, Marti Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. |

Marge, I love the way you are all filling us in on the meet you had. It makes us feel like we were there. I know you all had a wonderful time. I also like the way this "family of friends" talks to each other in their dedication of poetry. Like I've said before, you are all amazing people and I'm glad that you're accepting me into your "family. Thanks to you all. It was great, too, the way that you included the "words" that you learned at the meet. Thanks. Love, Ethel/garysgirl |

Marge, The bounding was mental but never the less there. That old dear he's getting on I fear. And you were the queen of the May. And I would have it no other way. Eternal thank my friend. |
