A pun is begun with tongue set in cheek.
Matters not, which-a-one, but the words that you speak,
must be crafted with care if the one's you'd ensnare,
know one second too late, that they've taken the bait.

As with every good ruse that is meant to amuse,
it's the timing that counts, like a cat set to pounce,
on the mouse at the cheese, just as slick as you please,
it works purr-fectly well ( now don't that just beat hell?)

"That's not fair" you might say "these darn games that you play, are moronic ,you know, just how low can you go?"
" Like a snake to the ground, no mistake, I have found, It's hiss-terical see, shall I rattle off three?"

"Now there's just no excuse for such stuff, silly Moose!"
"Stop this nonsense" you say " or we'll all make you pay!"
"Once again, my good friends, as I said way back when,
I'm part snake, and part cat, take the bait and that's that!"
