What a powerful statement to the inevitable... that time waits for no one and is affected by nothing.... Time takes the pace and give the measure Travelling forward toward ambition and backward toward forever. Standing still only for the dream Time can seem to move so slow, yet sometimes seems to fly away, Even so it passes on the same. Thanks so much, Jeff... Actually the she is me... I feel as if I am living my life hanging on to a slippery airplane wing right now... and the airplane is doing loop de loops. I don't know how much more time...or how much longer I can hang onto this wing this way... thats what inspired the poem. ~ hugs from chipmunk hanging by her tailLyra |
