Mother Daughter Time
~*~
She just doesn’t get it.
The calendar is marked in red
and it’s all we talk about,
so I have no clue why she does not get it.
IT is when I tease her
about such things as,
a certain time a baby will be born
saying “not sure who’s.”
In the usual way of chatting these days
she answers via email,
“what did you mean by who‘s?”
As if she didn’t know!
Baby stores know me well,
so it MUST be hormones talking.
Hers from pregnancy,
and mine from perhaps the dreaded M word.
Guess I’ll get a patch,
and patch things up.
IT’S mother daughter time.

Mother/Daughter  relationships can be so difficult. But they always have their rewards in the end.

I loved this.

Hugs, Marti

(big hugggssssss) Oh Debra, I'm so sorry you're having a difficult relationship with your daughter, sweet friend, but know it is common and you are not alone, because growing up like that is so very difficult and it can bring much stress to an adolescent such as myself! In the end your relationship with her will be better than ever, sweet friend, God Bless You Both, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Debra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Ahhh yes, the mother-daughter relationship woes. How well you write of this. My daughter will be 34 this month, and still can give me that "pout" and stomp off. But, she's mine and I couldn't love her more. Enjoyed. Chris
