I swirl slowly around the whirlpool
   looking up
      watching the retreating rim

I don't know how I got here
         to this place

as the raging carries -

I fight
            thrashing toward
what appeared
      to be
               the sane

but inexorable--
    the pull
and spin
               down
the drain
of
        misunderstand

I stopped fighting
I craved the black
              hole of finality

I turned upside-down

         and swam toward it
clawing
    grasping
needing it's release

... .. . . fading sight

speed.......

             finding-------

I was wrong

as I bobbed to the surface
        to the top
of the spiral
               of life
--broken through and through
       (a new arrangement of soul)
I saw I had been

upside-down

all
   along

Serenity speaks of rocks.
You speak of water.

You were made for each other;
go erode!

"finding-------

I was wrong"

The revelation.

"I saw I had been

upside-down

all
   along"

The reveal.

I especially loved the ending,
nicely done!

a whirlwind of emotions, powerful words.

----

All by itself--this is exceptional--you took splotches of emotion and gave them subconscious color and as if this is not enough? no...you draw bridges with the visual presentation.

Bri? Look at this yourself..It's twin poems that fit...a poetry orgy?

Um...We need to talk...

brian

Impressed here with the deep way you took this, almost to drowning and then seeing the light.
