A Missing Writer |

The writer is missing, the writer is missing, do you hear? do you? He's missing, he is missing his pen, his paper, his poem. The essence of pen and paper, the wispy evervesence of words that can get one so high, while being there for one quite low. A release that only writers understand, and maybe only writers need. Today he is moody, his heart heavy and his mind weighed down. And so he turns to his beloved, his near-and-dear pen and paper, which, no matter the time, the distance, the ups and downs, will always, always be there. The poet's realm is his, a path to self-discovery. When will he use it again? |

oooh, superb! I was feeling agony at having no time to write for the pure joy of writing, the release of angst the fulfillment of pleasure relived. Enjoyed the poem a lot, stole some seconds from my shoulda's to pop in here. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

The poet's realm is his, a path to self-discovery. When will he use it again? Oh I know this feeling, I get writer's block like other people get the flu, every six months and impossible to shake off. lol All I can suggest that you keep a diary of thoughts, one of them is bound to become a poem, and keep reading poetry books and novels. Enjoyed the read. El riesgo vive siempre! |

PoetryIsLife, I really enjoyed the so true words of this poem. From what I've learned, "the writer" is missing for all writers at times. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes, Ethel |

Yes, I finally read it. I'm sorry it takes 8 years to sit down and read a poem. It's not personal I swear. Well, this is definitely one I can relate to. I think any writer can. How frustrating! Anywho, I enjoyed it because you wrote it in a way that was interesting and not just "crap, I can't write". Love, Memina Sanity is in itself enough to make you insane. |

I can totally relate. And, when finished, with a multitude of wadded up sheets of paper on the floor, oh, what a great feeling. Better than a runners high! Thanks, Warm Regards, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
