As time goes by and dust accumulates On shelves too high to see too well That go unnoticed for months on end Cause dusting ain’t my thing you can tell But the cobwebs had grown too thick And I was worried it was a fire hazard So I climbed on a chair to clean the top shelf. Whipping it down I was glad I did Finding Dylan’s Self Portrait up there. A vinyl classic in a CD world Just finding it took me way back And made my head swirl A legend of an era of the distant past For who we would scream and holler He’s got a concert here in town Tickets costing 125 dollar I’d sit back and listen to the music But the phonograph is long dead So I'll just get a couple fingers of Jack And listen to the echoes in my head. |

I catch myself saying things like, I had that record, or that 45 and I laugh, and feel old for a minute, but then I just enjoy those memories, thanks for this one |

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this is so very special indeed, I can only imagine how much a vinyl of Bob Dylan must cost nowadays, this is exdellent, I dig his classics so much, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Dirk, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
