This was prompted by a challenge on another board to write to the title topic. Since I'm a sub-teacer, I glommed onto the challenge immediately. Say, I've never seen "glommed" spelled, do you think I've got it? It's not a REAL word is it? It's not in my dictionary, anyway. head teacher helpers, too, to tend, to teach, this modern zoo the path of least resistance, here, diversity’s the name of the education game anti-discrimination rules and rocks this mottled nation all walks of life all forms of creed plantings of the diversity seed learning how to get along with many voices many songs learning styles a key to life finding ways so learning’s rife dunce cap’s new and improved getting into the cyber groove misbehavior’s frustration’s lot ennui’s consequence distraught in the corner there in front of cyber chair children sit and learn to stare at random life’s array will it save the day? ©August 19, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
