We aspired, to build a bridge across the waters holding out the hand of friendship to those who had touched our hearts. Perhaps we had aimed too high we did not know yet we launched the cry into the wilderness waiting for the answering echo of sibling minds Across the waters came the response we will come! We will come! and they did in all their shapes and sizes bringing their dreams and hopes to mingle with ours to raise the voice of poetry in sound and echo that resounded around the world The echoes fade soft in the autumn air yet the bricks of friendship cemented by this time together will last forever We aspired and in aspiring we soared to the stars and found a link of hands that made the waters redundant and built a bridge, that will stand forever and never be broken. We aspired and we aspire still, that the flame will be carried from generation to generation across the bridge of time. YES ... these tears easily flow ... and they are tears-of-joy at having met YOU dearest friend~ Bill and I think it would just be a splendid idea for you to come again and stay LONGER (shy little critter that you are) LOL !
