I have read time and time again Of the little weasel who goes for the throat “I do not like what you write” The weasel says “And you must adjust to please me” Well I tell you my weasel friend And I assure you it is straight from my heart Whether a poem makes you mad Or it makes you cry It has done what it has set out to do Stir the emotions inside If you do not like what you read my weasel friend Then please take my advice Go away and get a life Because I write for me To tell a writer not to write is to put a dagger in their heart It is a murderous deed I say Not everything may be to your taste I can live with that Thank God that I am free To write and write what I want And share it with whom I please Now go back to your hole my weasel friend And leave the writers be |

Sadly some people think all negative critism is spoken by unsavory people. One can learn even from a fool. paladin |

Actually this was inspired by something that happened to someone else. They were threatened with lawsuit because what they had written was taken as offensive to one reader. He was also told that the lawsuit would take place if he continued to write. |
