No More The air is stinging I feel a twinge deep down in the bottom of my stomache It's as though I'm on a rollercoaster way at the top falling, falling dropping down, down Where did everyone go They are gone now Like the squirrel that has gathered her nuts, they leave the shells behind, you see, there is little to be had They look for new seeds to nuture, to store, for the others now have gotten old and there is little to gain It is almost too much to bear This searing heat of emptiness This brand that I now wear Here today, tomorrow easily forgotten Every moment brings me nearer to history until there is no more [This message has been edited by SimplyGold (09-28-2002 02:34 PM).] |

Nicely written! This piece makes me think of losing loved ones throughout my life. Not sure if that was the message you were shooting for. Great job!! Hey dog, did you see the size of that chicken!? |

(big hugggssssss) This too felt to me like the thoughts of missing lost loved ones, sweet friend, know those who you've lost will always love you with all their hearts and you will never be alone! (sigh) This is heartfelt, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Oh, I've been there! Tie a knot on the end of that rope and hang on! Remember, "And this too shall pass!" I say it over and over like a mantra when life gets a little too difficult for me to handle. You wrote this very well. ~ Hang in there kiddo! The sun will shine again! It always does! ~ EA |
