standing on a shadow's lace

Pour

I heard the rain
as it came rolling in
it’s sound reminds me
of the way you touch my skin
the same sweet drops
of the night
that I recognize
when it is light
the gentle caress
of you in pour
storm on rain
shower me more

I’m not disappointed, I never expected anything from you.
