Ground Zero--no not NY but my husband's den And that not for long, I'm taking it back I have NEVER had my own space and thats a sin He's hunting so I'm making my thought a fact It is going to become my own sewing room With fabric.machines.tables.shelves for me Space for special things will be there soon Things I can leave out for me to see Out goes all the stuffed birds.snakes and deer The walls will have a new look you bet No more wings going no where or eyes to lear A place called storage is where they will set I can see it all now and I can't wait To be able to leave a project out and not away To open the door to a colorful design I create I'm so happy just thinking of that wonderful day Out out you old dead creatures get go Sweep the walls and floor.polish and shine In no time order and organization will flow And I will have a space that is all mine If dust bunny's grow they will be mine Quilt blocks and quilts can grow in the open Pins.needles.threads in bright hues to shine My place with a door so if I please can let you in |

Mother Earth, I love to read about your day-to-day life. It's earthy, witty and homespun. Delightful read!---and I'm pleased you are claiming some personal space for yourself! ~ smiles to Mother Earth from Earth Angel ~ Linda |

OOOoooops! lol Don't expect any sympathy, tho' I doubt you will need ask any, you're just that kinda gal huh? Just make sure you order the shed. Inner Sanctum Consider, if you will, the male’s domain He’s there dawn ‘til dusk and even through rain Enter his sanct’ry at solely your risk Take care as you leave no need for a frisk For take from his place the tiniest screw You take a great risk and more the fool you All is in order and counted just so It seems disarray, an untidy row Nuts and bolts, every type of nail is there No touching machines or tools don’t you dare His only retreat for deep reflection In the kitchen he’d bear like rejection I guess one becomes content with one’s poetry when one opens the book ten years hence and does NOT exclaim, “Did I really write this?” |

LOL at your den. Maybe you should design a REVERSA-WALL? you could put your shelves on one side and his on the other, then flip them around depending upon who is home? Have fun dueling in your den. |

Now Paddy, that isn't fair! He has 2 big barns--they held cows and such--a milk house, a garage and other nooks and crannys. I need 1 little space. Love your poem about guy stuff. Midnitesun, no way! I want it all for myself. No flipping around!! lol |
