It’s My Sweet Refrain

dancin’
in the rain
soil
down
the drain

dripping elbows
dripping ears
puddled feet
hidden tears

yes
dancin’
in the rain
it’s
my sweet refrain

like
a birdie
in the bath
or
a duck
on sprinkled path

I’m
refreshed
and kinda cool
lookin’
like
a silly fool

but
I don’t care
I’ll break the rule
and
all my friends
will surely drool

at the
freedom
that I dare

hehehe

Virginia - love this as I just came in from the rain!! Only, I wasn't dancin'.....it was a "feet don't fail me now" race from the car to the house.lol. Chris

Delightful! I love rain! Gentle rain---and not so gentle rain! I love every kind of rainfall. I like to walk in the rain without an unbrella---I want to feel it against my skin---it' invigorating, refreshing, revitalizing and very cleansing! I feel so close to God and nature.

I enjoyed reading this very much!
