I peer. The window, cold and wet against my palm. The road streaks by. Heavy metal thrashes in my ears. I peer, Oblivious to the chatter around me, Oblivious to the lovers behind me. Alone, I peer. The seat next to me, empty. Alone, in my world. What a lonely world. I peer. A tear rolls down my face And falls to an untouched hand. The bus moves on, And I peer. Thoughts? |
