Steel not thine heart from tenderness which rides upon the feathered flight. For what is borne and given bless to each upon the still of night. Steel not thy soul, thy passion’s gave thy will of self compassion felt. Take not thy anger to the grave, upon thy knee, thy should be knelt. Let not the treason of the mind lay fall ‘pon wisdom of one’s tongue. Guard well ‘gainst whispering unkind As come thy day of bell whence rung. Cast into hell the lusting fire of burn within thy ragged breast. Speak not thy tongue to be the liar as fleeting beats do leave thine chest. For once the sun does lay the shine ‘pon meadow green of thine heart pure. Thy words whence spoke wilt be divine and thence thy love wilt time endure. Let not the treason of the mind lay fall ‘pon wisdom of one’s tongue. Guard well ‘gainst whispering unkind As come thy day of bell whence rung Yikes! Your words to-day dear poet sir, speak the truth well and I enjoyed this read. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

So, gather ye thy wisdom’s keep Kneel before thee seeks thy sleep Pray upon the Lord to calm Moments’ shake of such, this qualm Should the mists convey silk’s veil Should thy heart be thus impaled! Know behind the gray of light Lies your future beyond this night. |

For whence the night does come to pass as stars do bed and feel the sleep Comes to the ears the word of Lass within this heart and mind to keep. Let not the soul tormented fail to sip the wine beyond the lip for in the mist lies once the grail if but would only thy fingers tip. Thank You LIW....you always inspire yet even more from this knight.... |

Wonderful, spendid, awesome, fantastic write poet sir! At times I am at a loss for words.. At times, saying 'well written' is not enough.. This is one of those times Barry. Your writing is growing is leaps and bounds. I admire you. ~Hugs~ ~ Time has cast a spell on you |

(smiles) I too always love reading your hearts expressions and times I feel saying so much I love about your words but all that seems to come out is well-written and that may sound cliche but truly your words always touch me so deeply! (big hugggsssssss) This is superb, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Barry, you were born too late. I don't know another man who can write the way you do. |
