With hands the scent of twilight,
she held onto dawn's change of colour.
Clouds followed the daylight,
hov'ring in their spaceless dolour.
She told me at touch of morn
that we awed the deadest lights.
That galaxies were not starborn,
but reflections after sight.
She gave me a molecule,
a thought in kiss upon my palm.
Then we watched shadows unspool,
to leave unspoken words in calm.

She broke the silence with a question.
We went inside, at sky's suggestion.

That was good.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

Dude...sonnets are not my strong point, just as rhyme in general is not..
can't say if the form is true or the rhyme is forced if the meter a bit off...

can say it reads well...and that I enjoyed it.

I'm glad you all enjoyed.

And Marge, thank you for sharing it with a friend. That really makes my day.

Ron, yes, this form isn't my strong suit. In fact, I'm calling all my poetry into question of late. Me and my moods.
