So I hear the bells.
Egression's lost song.
Light's parabola
finished all but one.

Summer is a light
extinguished by fall.
Learned from springtime's else;
from learning winter's else.

Self is but a breath,
erred lines of the heart
latched onto a freize.
Forgotten who you are?

I must admit, I am always awestruck by your brilliance and your style...
just one critique...summer's light never to be extinguished...only colored mellow by the fall. On the other hand...

ThisDiamond,
Aw, but then I couldn't write Self down the side of the poem three times.

I'm just a bit grumpy and lost-feelin' at the moment, is all. Besides, extinguishment can be beautiful -- and the seasons will always come around again, anyway.

Thanks for reading these words.

Self times 3 or 3 views into the layers of change that make who we are, an ever morphing collection of thoughts and feelings, either way it works....

Thank you both. And Ron, yes, that was my intention ... the words might be a bit too humble to pull it off, though. Oops.
