interloper – someone or something that intrudes in a place or sphere of activity. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What is this interloper that steals in silent as a cat and strikes swiftly as a viper? Tell me, what is this interloper that stalks surely as a hunting lion and as relentless as a pit bull? Oh, please, tell me, what is this interloper that evokes: laughter and tears, joy and despair, pleasure and pain, excitement and despondence, triumph and defeat, aspiration and apathy, need and desperation, and ... Hope? Always ... hope. What name to give this ... interloper? LOVE 11/2000 Doctor Love Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |
